Batteries, inverters & solar in Kukatpally
Kukatpally was one of the first places we worked in when Qwik Power started in 2012 — long before KPHB filled out with towers. Back then most homes ran a single 850 VA inverter for two fans and a tube light. Today the same flats carry a fridge, a router, two ACs on inverter compressors and a work-from-home desk that cannot go dark at 3 pm.
That shift is why we test before we sell here. A 2013-era inverter sizing simply does not survive a 2026 Kukatpally load list, and swapping the battery alone rarely fixes it. We measure what your home actually draws, then tell you whether you need a new battery, a new inverter, or neither.
What we see on the ground in Kukatpally
Kukatpally and KPHB sit on a dense feeder network shared with the industrial belt along the NH-44 corridor, so evening voltage sag is common between 7 pm and 9 pm — hard on inverters running without a stabiliser.
Typical Kukatpally 2BHK: 4 fans, 8 LED points, one refrigerator, router and TV — around 550–700 W of essential load, which a correctly matched 1050 VA inverter with a 150 Ah tubular battery carries for roughly 3 hours.
How we work in Kukatpally
- We keep tubular and lithium stock rotating for the KPHB high-rise belt because lift access means we cannot make two trips for one installation.
- For flats above the 8th floor we do the load test on the first visit and carry the battery up on the second — with trolley and floor protection, not a shoulder carry.
- Housing societies in Kukatpally routinely ask for a common-area UPS audit; we do these free, one block at a time.
Same-day visit for calls placed before 2 pm.
“Two shops in KPHB told me my inverter was finished. The Qwik engineer load-tested it, found a swollen battery and a loose terminal, and replaced only the battery. It has been eighteen months and it is still running fine.”
Kukatpally questions we get asked
Do you cover KPHB Phases 1 to 9 and Nizampet Road?
Yes. All KPHB phases, Nizampet Road, Bachupally Road up to the ORR junction and Moosapet are on the same service route, so a morning call usually gets a same-day visit.
My Kukatpally flat has frequent low-voltage evenings. Will lithium help?
Lithium handles deep cycling better, but low voltage is a charging-input problem, not a chemistry problem. We usually recommend a servo stabiliser ahead of the inverter first — it is a fraction of the cost and it protects whatever battery you already own.
