Batteries, inverters & solar in Kokapet

Kokapet is the newest part of our map and the most demanding technically. Neopolis-era towers arrive with common-area DG, high-rise pressure pumps and homes wired for far more connected load than any previous generation of Hyderabad housing.

Residents here rarely ask for a bigger battery — they ask what happens in the specific window between a grid failure and the DG picking up. We design for that gap, then for runtime, in that order.

What we see on the ground in Kokapet

Kokapet and the Financial District run on relatively new infrastructure with DG-backed common areas, so the practical problem for apartments is the DG changeover gap, not extended outages.

A Kokapet 3BHK keeps 800 W to 1.2 kW online — lights, fans, fridge, Wi-Fi and home-office equipment — which a 2 kVA inverter with a 5 kWh lithium pack covers through several changeovers with margin.

How we work in Kokapet

  • Designs prioritise seamless ride-through of the DG changeover, then runtime.
  • Only sealed and lithium chemistries are proposed for towers here, in line with society fit-out rules.
  • We provide a fit-out compliant install report for society approval before starting work.

Next-day survey; installs scheduled to society fit-out hours.

The society needed a compliance document before allowing any battery installation. Qwik Power produced it without being chased, and the install passed on the first inspection.

Kokapet questions we get asked

My Kokapet tower already has DG backup. Do I still need an inverter?

Often yes, for the changeover gap and for in-flat circuits the DG does not feed. It is usually a small system — enough to keep your Wi-Fi, desk and fridge from blinking, not a whole-home replacement.

Will the society approve the installation?

We provide a written fit-out compliance report covering chemistry, placement, isolation and cable routing. That is what societies here ask for, and we prepare it as standard.
